Inspiration behind Making of 'The Unspoken Truth'

The first image is a print screen from one of the subtitles in the paranormal thriller 'The Devil Inside'. The ellipses (...) were used to build tension and suspense. They  make the audience anxious as to what will happen next. We used the ellipses in our own film to create the same effect as the one in 'The Devil Inside'. In our film opening this was used as transition to indicate to the audience; the time being passed.

The second image is a print screen of  the paranormal/ supernatural thriller font that inspired us to create our own. The font of the title sequence is of 'The Woman In Black'. The font id quite simple and old-fashioned. The title is displayed on a misty window where the actually title is written in dew which then drips down the window ading a dark and deep effect. The font that was used in our film was not exactly the same but it was the closest we could find to it which still looked supernatural like. The old fashioned font can relate to the persona of Florence Cole as she is an older woman who is obviously old fashioned. The font we have used is called 'PerryGothic' which we downloaded the font from a website which is called 'dafont.com'.

The group also watch the  psychological thriller 'Memento' trailer which was useful and gave us the idea of the switch between black-and-white and colored scenes. This is supposed to represent a link between both the past and the present whilst also acting as a smooth transition.
